Responsibilities:

• Maintain donation filing system and support fundraising related administration work;
• Assist in major donor communication and cultivation, including conducting research into potential major donors and providing information for solicitation;
• Assist in develop and implement a programme to enhance donor experience and communication;
• Carry out effective engagement strategies with donors through different communication channels including direct dialogue, eDMs, digital and social media platforms;
• Assist in the development of new marketing and fundraising initiatives;
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager (Marketing & Donor Engagement)

Requirements:

• Degree in marketing, communication, business administration or relevant discipline
• Related experience in fundraising with a non-profit or charitable organization is an advantage
• Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Highly motivated with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines under minimum supervision
• Good team player with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible to work on weekends and public holidays when required
• Genuine interest in the welfare of animals
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Assistant Fundraising Officer
