Description

• Lead  medium to large professional projects to ensure that it meets all scope,  time, budget and quality expectations, through active leadership, detailed  planning & resource management
• Responsible for  ongoing management of the key stakeholder relationships- as well as  aggressive proactive communication to all parties
• Work on complex  problems / projects where analysis of situations or data requires an  in-depth evaluation of multiple factors
• Will be asked to  frequently contribute to and deliver new & innovative ideas and  methods to address project challenges
• Exercise  significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and  practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving  objectives
• Lead and provide  expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives
• Proactively  engage with the strategic business planning process where there is IT impact; influence overall business strategies in alignment with  company's strategic directions and initiatives
• Communicate  strategic IT decisions and plan and work to achieve alignment at the top  level of the business, function, or geography
• Identify and  leverage opportunities where IT can provide cost-effective, standard solutions to meet the needs of multiple company's functions / geographies
• Will also need to be able to provide mentoring and guidance to junior colleagues & acts as an expert in providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies
• Accountable for not only project scope, but also project financials including business impact and benefits
• Manage internal  as well as external resources with people from multiple regions

Requirements 

• Holder  of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information systems, or MBA  or equivalent experience but Masters or graduate degree preferred
•  Minimum10 years experience at MNC or sizable data centre with 5+ years managerial experience
• Member of  PM Professional community and PMP certified (strongly preferred)
• Experienced in  managing large and/or multiple full life cycle projects
• Must have  a strong knowledge and understanding of the theory of project  management and project management tools such as MS Project and other similar tools
• Advanced  analytical and problem solving skills and full comprehension of systems  development and implementation lifecycle
• Strong verbal /  written English and Chinese communication skills
• Ability  to plan, schedule, work independently and as part of a team
• Work and  communicate effectively with business, IT, and upper management
• Ability to apply creative solutions to complex problems and measure the impact to the      business
• Assess issues  and the financial impact and cost savings of solutions
• Ability  to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously
• Strong organization skills, extremely detailed and accurate
• Strong  interpersonal and communication skills. Motivational in tone and spirit.
• Speaks with  authority to most layers of depth related to project management methods.
• Manages projects  affecting three or more organizations
• Coordinates and  integrates the work efforts and deliverables of a large multi-function  project team
• Manages projects  with often aggressive but achievable stakeholder deadlines
