Responsibilities

• Manage regional application infrastructure projects.
• Manage, monitor and report progress, issues, dependencies, risks to the programme management, internal stakeholders and/or steering committees.
• Liaise with multiple cross functional teams to coordinate technical requirements and propose the best-in-class recommendations to each project.
• Mange the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments and changes.
• Provide management to maintain a focus on how the project aligns to wider programme objectives and to the change portfolio across HSBC.
• Enforce process discipline and improvements in areas of expertise
• Able to streamline and understanding application patching workflow and transform it into an automation progress.
• Ensure adherence to standard controls and drives teams to achieve compliance and framework, capability management, Security controls and technology architecture designs.

 Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science / Information Technology
• At least 8 years working experience in IT industry and 5 years in project management.
• Experienced in MS SQL, Oracle DB and IBM WebSphere
• Sound knowledge of banking applications
• Good understanding application development life cycle
• Prefer experience on Windows Server OS and Redhat
• Working experience in Banking or Insurance background is a plus
• Able to work independent, self-motivated and willing to take challenges
• Fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
