Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct effective product control and valuation control of equity and interest rate related products and derivatives in trading book
• Duties include daily P&L reporting and analysis, balance sheet substantiation, pricing parameter verification and market conformity checking
• Actively participate in related system development and enhancement projects
• Strengthen product control functions, streamline or revamp work flow and maintain related policy and procedures
• Contact point for front office to handle ad hoc queries on P&L
• Collaborate and co-ordinate with front office, operations and risk control to enhance the front to back control environment supporting the business

  Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant and University graduate in Finance or related disciplines;
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in investment banking or fund industries
• Strong product and accounting knowledge in financial instruments including equity, debt, derivatives and structured products
• Experience in working and supervising team members
• Strong analytical, problem solving, communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently as well as leading team members to meet tough deadline
• Conversant with Excel VBA and Bloomberg
• Good command of written and spoken Mandarin and English
