Job responsibilities

As a Tax Accountant / Senior Tax Accountant you will be:

Responsibilities

• Handle tax consulting and tax compliance projects such as drafting replies to the Inland Revenue Department’s letters
• Review and advise on tax assignments completed by junior staff in accordance with the relevant tax law and regulations
• Prepare tax computation and schedules for tax compliance projects
• Perform research for certain tax advisory and tax compliance projects
• Assist in preparing tax proposals to the client for tax advisory and compliance work
• Assist in preparing reports and schedules to be delivered to clients and other parties.

Experience

• Degree / Diploma in Accounting or related discipline;
• Student member/member of HKICPA/ACCA or other relevant professional bodies;
• 1-3 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a professional services environment, the IRD or corporate tax group;
• Excellent skills in MS Excel and knowledge of computerized accounting system;
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skill;
• Able to work independently towards deadlines and work under pressure;
• Able to work cross-functionally
• Strong presentation skills with an excellent command of verbal and written English and fluency in Cantonese / Mandarin will be an advantage
