Our client is a leading global professional services firm that delivers performance improvement, turnaround management and corporate advisory services to organizations seeking to transform operations, catapult growth and accelerate results through decisive action.  Strong performance and continued expansion in the Asia region have resulted in new opportunities within the company, including the need to appoint a high caliber Senior Director for their interim CFO services in Asia.

Based in China (Shanghai/Beijing) and report directly to the Managing Director - China, the incumbent will take up an interim CFO role serving both Private Equity and Corporate clients across a broad range of industries. 

           
Core responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting and business operations, human resources, information systems and facility operations depending on unique situation. 
• Develop and direct all funding proposals and agreements, monitor financial indicators to support decision-making.  
• Meet reporting requirements for all funding and contracting bodies.
• Prepare/oversee regular and specialized financial reporting for CEO and governing board, relating to program performance, business plans and strategic opportunities.
• Lead business operations and staff.
• Collaborate and contribute to Senior Leadership Team and BOD to improve overall company performance.
• Work closely with private equity investors and venture capital firms to provide CFO executive teams for buyouts, turnarounds, transitions, change management, successions, and start-ups etc. 
• Any ad hoc initiatives as required by each engagement.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or other related disciplines.
• Qualified Accountant and/or MBA with successful track records, out of which with at least 10 years in senior financial leadership position(s) in sizeable MNCs.
• Prior consulting experience in a project or interim capacity is an advantage.
• Ability to foster a strong, cohesive working team.  Hands-on approach and strong delegation and leadership skills.
• Strong finance related software skills and ERP systems.
• System implementation/integration experience is desirable.
• Exceptional business acumen.
• Able to build credibility and trust with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Able to identify key operational performance drivers, cash flow forecasting, and flexibility to support clients with a broad array of issues.
• Polished, professional with excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written skills in both English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate with all levels of client personnel.
