Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
- Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure
- Handle full set of accounting operations independently
- Lead a small team and support an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close for the Company and group reporting
- Implement recommendations from internal audit
- Handle and coordinate with various parties on system implementation and procedures improvement
- Liaise with auditors, tax representatives and professionals regarding audit, tax and other relevant matters
- Support ad hoc projects when required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline
- Member of the HKICPA or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting working experience in listed Hong Kong or multinational corporation with at least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
- Independent and passionate self-starter
- Positive in attitude and assertive
- Experience in the airline, hospitality, logistics and/or consumer goods industries is an advantage
