Job Description

 

Our client is inviting applications for 6-month contract role for one Project Manager and one Business Analyst as per the following requirements:

As part of a wider HR Transformation project, in which we are moving our core HR & internal payroll platforms from PeopleSoft to SAP, this role will be responsible for:

  • Locally managing the end-to-end implementation of SAP EC-Payroll in China, working at the direction of the Head of Payroll Change & Innovation whilst supporting the Local Payroll team in ensuring all local regulatory requirements are adhered too.
  • Deploying the standard directed Project Management framework and other Business Transformation Frameworks (BTF) within the project.
  • Proven experience in leading & implementing new payroll systems/process, with ability to plan & manage Payroll ‘UAT’, ‘Integration Acceptance Testing’ and ‘Payroll Parallel Testing.’
  • Previous management role within a China Payroll Operational team.
  • Fluent in both English & Chinese.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate strong leadership, analytical, influencing, facilitation and stakeholder management skills across all levels of management.
  • Deep understanding of operational risk and experience in identifying & implementing controls to mitigate such risks.
  • Proven project management & LEAN skills with experience in re-engineering payroll processes and delivering continuous improvement.
  • Detailed knowledge of payroll systems (SAP EC-Payroll knowledge is an advantage), with the ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Meticulous level of planning & organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a matrix environment with conflicting demands
  • Sound judgmental skills to identify and resolve challenges and issues
