Our client is a Chinese ibank providing full spectrum of financial service related to SFC regulated activities licence type 1,4,6 and 9. To cope with their business growth, they are now looking for a Equity Research Analyst (Consumer) to join them.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct fundamental research on covered industries and companies to generate investment ideas; Build and maintain detailed financial models;
• Write and publish initiation reports and maintain regular updates as well as detailed thematic reports for the covered companies and sectors;
• Respond to client requests and maintain frequent dialogues with clients on investment ideas; Participate in road shows, conferences and other events;
• Conduct or arrange company visits for clients and due diligence purposes;
• Develop and maintain contacts with the management of companies in the covered sectors;
• Work closely with other internal departments on specific projects as required;

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance/Economics or related to covered industry;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sell-side or buy-side research;
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Excellent spoken and written Mandarin and English;
• Diligent, proactive and good team player
