- Handle daily accounting functions, billings, payments, expense claims and inter-company transactions
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts and clients’ funds segregation
- Assist in preparing and monitoring the daily and monthly FRR under the Securities and Futures Ordinance “SFO”
- Perform month-end closing & prepare periodic schedules
- Liaise with banks, auditors and other regulators
- Perform ad hoc assignments as required
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in accounting or finance or equivalent is preferred
- 3-5 years relevant accounting experience in securities firms
- Solid experience in securities accounting, SFC Financial Resources Rules and Financial Returns are advantages
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Enthusiastic, detail-minded, mature with positive attitude and a good team player
- Immediate availability is definitely an advantage
