Job Description

Responsibilities:

Assist the Head of Internal Audit in implementing the internal audit methodology, formulating the internal audit plan and compiling high quality reports to management, the Audit Committee and the Board
Provide guidance and training to team members
Manage audit assignmentsindependentlyand/or collaborativelyfrom planning, fieldwork, reporting to issues follow-up
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, identify areas for improvement and provide sound recommendations
Take up ad hoc assignments when required

Requirements:

Degree holder in Accountancy, Business Administration, Risk Management or related disciplines
At least 8 years solid auditing experience in banking / financial services industry
Professional designation of CPA, CIA, FRM and/or CISA or equivalent
Able to work independently and deal with different levels of management
Well versed in HKMA supervisory control requirements and regulatory codes, rules and requirements
Strong product knowledge in the banking industry with good business sense
Good team-player with excellent project management, communication and interpersonal skills, competence of supervision, good analytical report writing and self-motivated
Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
