Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Main Duties: eKYC and Customer Onboarding 

Project Lead

  • Develop and implement eKYC strategy, policies and standards to ensure alignment with the regulator
  • As a eKYC project lead, covering 2018 HKID implementation, 2003 HKID upgrade, and implementation of non-permanent HK resident ID authentication solutions and provide solution for loans platforms
  • Arrange and complete all UAT and UAT resources for all projects relating to eKYC
  • Be a key driver of customer experience
  • Monitor external vendor service levels, escalate when necessary
  • Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders and functions, including Product teams, Financial Crime Compliance, Technology Risk Management, Anti- Fraud teams, IT, PMOs and external vendors.

 eKYC and Customer Onboarding Operations

  • Manage end-to-end client onboarding process and regular KYC review activities for clients
  • Responsible for 1st level check on AML / Customer Due Diligence exceptions
  • Provide subject matter expertise on potential key risks identified during the due diligence review and escalate to Financial Crime Compliance team
  • Organize training and awareness of eKYC and Customer Onboarding to livi and Call Centre staff
  • Participate in ad-hoc exercise in response with the inspections and examinations by auditors, authorities, or regulators.

 Secondary Duties: Deposits and Customer Account Maintenance

  • Responsible for Data Access Requests, change of customer data in core systems
  • Perform appropriate checks, manage suspension and closure of accounts according to livi policies and guidelines
  • Responsible for maintenance of daily deposit rates
  • Comply with the Bank’s and regulator’s polices on protecting customer data confidentiality and the Operations Policies and Procedures
  • Maintain and enhance Operations related functions on livi APP, Core banking systems, UNC Messaging system and any Operations related applications that maybe relevant

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above with a minimum of 6 years of banking experience
  • Solid experience on Know Your Customer/ AML/ CDD and Customer Onboarding preferably for both retail and corporate customers
  • Good knowledge & understanding of banking operations and products such as personal and corporate retail deposits and transfers, debit/credit cards, customer account maintenance
  • Able to communicate effectively to customers and colleagues
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical mind and creative thinking
  • Good report writing skills and presentation skills
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
