Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute equities, futures, options (warrants) trade orders for China, Hong Kong and US markets with appropriate Algo
- Maintain high proficiency in all trading systems and processes to promote maximum efficiency of trading tools
- Coordinate or liaise with internal and external parties including analysts, portfolio managers, operations, compliance, brokers, etc.
- Ensure all trading transactions are legitimate and comply with the SFC regulations
- Proactively provide suggestions/trading ideas and watch / discover the markets’ movements/trends closely
- Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned
- Rotational night shift (till 23:30) is required
- need to work at early shift 7:30 - 16:30 at the discretion of the company
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above in Finance/Business related disciplines
- At least 2-3 years relevant experience in trade execution/support function in reputable firms; equity long/short experience in hedge funds business is required
- Solid trading background;
- Multi-tasker, able to work efficiently under pressure;
- Strong problem-solving skills;
- Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese (including Mandarin).
