This position is based in Hong Kong.

They roll-up their sleeves and scour the world for the most outstanding deals, haggle for every last penny and write copy that, we think, even Hemingway would be proud of. Producers have a sixth-sense about deals. Their guts tell them if a deal is hot or not, and they know when to step in to help. Their instincts, smarts and sheer gusto make associate producers the ideal advocate for their colleagues – and for our 26 million subscribers worldwide.

Responsibilities:

-              Relentless research in pursuit of the deal.

-              Thoroughly review and test deals before recommending for publication.

-              Write clear and concise copy that explains why a deal is outstanding. 

-              Work closely with fellow producers to ensure Travelzoo gets the scoop.

-              Partner with sales staff to nurture advertiser relationships, but never sell out.

Requirements:

-              At least 2 years of editorial experiences in media and advertising

-              Preferable graduate from B.A./B.S. in English, Journalism, Communications (or related field)

-               Dynamic leadership ability.

-              Compassion in Travel.

-              Top-notch academic record with street smarts – knowing how to get the hottest deals.

-              Passion, logic and determination in research.

-              Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

-              Fearlessness when haggling for the best deal.

-              Strong project-management, problem-solving and organizational skills.
