Major responsibilities

The appointee will mainly be responsible for

• providing support and guidance service to help students adapt to College life;
• providing personal counselling service to students;
• giving advice on further studies and career development; and
• organising workshops and activities for students.   

Qualifications

The successful candidates should have

• a Bachelor’s degree in Counselling, Social Work, or a relevant discipline;
• at least 3 years of relevant work experience; and
• good interpersonal and communication skills, and problem solving abilities.

*Candidates who are less experienced will be considered for the post Assistant Student Counsellor. 

The contract will normally be two years with possibility of renewal subject to review. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Annual leave, medical benefits and end-of-contract gratuity will be provided.
