Responsibilities

• Conduct technology research in deep learning and natural language processing.
• Propose and design algorithm solutions for automated text, image and video analytics.
• Conduct systematic proof-of-principle (POP) and proof-of-concept (POC) for the proposed algorithms/solutions.
• Work with engineers/developers to realize the proposed algorithms in big data environment.
• Conduct POC to support client projects.

Requirements

• Master or above degree in computer science or related fields. PhD preferred.
• Minimum 3 year’s research experience in natural language processing, natural language understanding, deep learning, and/or machine learning with proven track record. Minimum 6 year’s relevant experience required for Senior Researcher.
• Strong numerical and reasoning skills with good understanding in research methodology.
• Familiar with Linux and master at least one programming language (Java or Python).
• Experience in Chinese language processing and understanding is desirable.
• Experience in deep learning is desirable.
• Can communicate effectively in both English and Chinese.
• Able to work independently but also in a team environment.
