Responsibilities:

• Identify and document the as-is essential business processes, business requirements (functional and non-functional) in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders
• Conduct feasibility study (when needed) to analyse and identify gaps, weakness and opportunities to improve the current business processes and/or validate feasibility of recommended IT solutions
• Determine and document user requirements for business processes and follow through those requirements
• Take a leading role in the BI & report development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing and support UAT
• Work closely with business to understand their information requirements, ensure BI strategy and agreed solutions are in good fit to their needs
• Reviews, proposes, and control the change requests.
• Establishes detailed user acceptance test procedure by joint testing with user, documentation of procedures and training of end-user on the system.
• Managing and balancing expectation between users/management, software vendor, and MIS team. Lead meetings and presentations for all parties.
• Second-line support for Supply Chain, QA, Finance and Accounting application – supervise primary support staff for these systems.
• Generate management reports using reporting tools

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business related
• A minimum of 8 years working experience including 3 years project management experience (full cycle of software development, waterfall and agile methodologies). Practical experience of PMP or Prince2.
• Experience in first-tier business applications support highly advantageous
• Knowledge in a major accounting and ERP packages.
• Knowledge in reporting tools, i.e. Crystal reports, Business Objects, Qlikview…etc
• Knowledge in supply chain & QA/QC systems a plus
• Familiar with SQL in an Oracle and/or SQL Server environment advantageous
• Industry experience in an international sourcing/buying office/procurement/trading companies advantageous
• Some programming experience in JSP, ASP, PHP, VB, VBA, XML a plus
• Excelling communications skills and stakeholder management
• Good software quality assurance, analytic, problem-solving skills
• Good English, Mandarin and Cantonese. Written and Spoken.
• Good Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Occasional travel to China and overseas.
