Project Nature:

• Develop, maintain and enhance customer focused systems for works contract management, job management and monitoring, data analysis and resources management on mobile and web platforms;
• The scope covered 500+ contracts, 1M+ equipment, 1M+ job done annually and has a user base of 1,000+ internal and external users;
• Develop using Agile in a full-stack approach, utilize continuous integration, microservices, containers, automated testing and the latest technologies stack;
• Collaborate and liaise with other development teams, including SAP based ERP and other .NET based development teams; the candidate is often required to facilitate the system integration process for transactional and master data exchanges.

Job Description:

• Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve a client with the public sector;
• Carry out system analysis and design, implementation, documentation, report generation, testing and maintenance for various management systems;
• Work in a team of mobile developers for the system implementation and enhancement of Android applications;
• Prepare testing scripts and conduct system testing at various levels;
• Coordinate with other development teams running on Agile methodology for changing system design and requirements;
• Prepare and update system design documents, operation procedures, system configuration documents, drill plans, contingency plans, technical reports, user manuals, etc.
• Provide application support and perform compatibility tests for new mobile OS, e.g.  Android, iOS;
• Enhance system performance for various management systems as a whole, including from software perspective, e.g. API design, version upgrade, infrastructure perspective, e.g. hardware utilization, resilience and prepare technical proposals proactively;
• Provide technical support services such as liaison with users and vendors, monitor, repair, recover systems, training and helpdesk support for contractors and colleagues;
• Ensure project deliverables to be on time and meet quality standard;
• Perform other IT services or tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• 2 years' or above experience in mobile application; 1 year's or above experience in mobile development is required; knowledge of Android native development is required; knowledge of hybrid or iOS mobile application development is a plus;
• 1 year's or above experience in web programming and JavaScript; experience in HTML5, HTML, Web Services and SQL is an advantage;
• Knowledge of testing tools, e.g. Appium or Selenium is a plus;
• Knowledge of version control software, e.g. SVN, Git or Team Foundation Version Control is preferred;
• Strong commitment to project deadline and delivering high quality work; experience in software QA is an advantage;
• Experience in management and support for Government systems and services is an advantage;
• Creative, analytical, self-initiative, responsible and well organized;
• Good team player, proactive communication with teammates;
• Satisfactory result in the written test on the interview day;
• Degree or Higher diploma in computer subjects or related disciplines;
• 3 years or above hands-on experience in IT application development of which 1 year must be in a similar post and in comparable capacity.
