Senior Product Developer / Product Developer

Responsibilities:

• Handle multi-brands and projects from design, trim/fabric sourcing
• Follow up on washing and sample making independently
• Keep the record effectively for project tracking and Product Development library on style, sample, trim and fabric materials
• Prepare Fashion/Material & Trim presentation
• Understand customers’ expectation on development plans
• Attend customer’s meetings on pre-season buy / style planning and involvement with customers’ design expectations
• Conduct extensive research in fabric/yarn/trims, fashion trend, etc
• Assist seasonal projects, project plan and customers’ calendar
• Administer all necessary projects and ensure completion within required timeframe
• Conduct presentation to overseas customers directly

Requirements:

• High Diploma or above in Textile Technology / Fashion Design
• Minimum 5 years in Product Development of garment field
• Strong fashion trend, new materials, fabric, accessories and market sense
• Strong experience in woven development
• Sound knowledge in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and other related CAD software
• Good inter-personnel skill with internal and external parties.  Eg : US Sales and Creative Dept, HK & SZ Merchandising teams, Fabric and Wet Processing Depts
• Creative, cost and trend conscious, hard-working, proactive, well-organized and mult-tasking
• Occasionally travel to SZ Office or South China is required
• Less experience will be considered as Product Developer
