The Property Department is responsible for maintenance and management of the Army’s property portfolio of more than 180 properties in Hong Kong, Macau and China.  Its mission is to establish and implement the Army’s strategies, goals, objectives and systems in property mattersso as to provide a safe and comfortable environment for efficient operation of allservice units of the Army.  In addition, the Property Department is also required to offer professional advice to other departments and service units of the Army.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and prepare drawings in Autocad for layout plans and details to suit users’ requirements
• Assist in and prepare tender documents, quotations, etc. including all necessary specifications for all the new, renovation and maintenance works
• Attend site meeting and coordinate meeting when required
• Assist in project coordination & design development from feasibility studies to project completion
• Perform any other legitimate duties assigned by the supervisor or management

REQUIREMENTS

• An understanding of the Christian faith, values and ethos of The Salvation Army
• Diploma in architectural design or related fields
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in architectural design and CAD drafting in construction, property management or related field
• Production of 3D rendering experience is an advantage
• Competent in coordinating CAD drawings for the company’s architectural and interior fitting-out projects
• Good computer skill including Autocad, Microsft Word, Excel, Photoshop and Chinese Word Processing
• Good problem-solving and communication skill
• Self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
