Role Summary/Purpose:

Reporting to the Managing Director of the Asia Pacific region, the Technical Support Engineer will assist new and existing customers in Asia Pacific with the integration of NDI’s 3D measurement technologies into their products. 

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve a broad range of technical problems related to the usage of NDI products in new or existing customer applications.
• Provide technical product information and train customers.
• Perform product demonstrations at customer meetings and trade shows 
• Provide support to customers for the product repair related issues.
• Assist reviewing customer Requests for Quotation (RFQ’s)
• Assist reviewing sales orders, loan agreements and various sales related contracts
• And other technical support related issues

Education and Professional Qualifications:

• University degree in a science, engineering or mathematics related field.
• 2– 3 years more experience in technical support or service role preferred, fresh graduates are also considered with relevant educational background.
• Experience C++ and other languages.

Desired Characteristics/Additional Assets:

• Image Guided Surgery and motion capture exposure or biomedical engineering would be an asset.
• Programming experience in C and C++ an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin. 
• Experience working in the regional office of an international company would be an asset.
• Willingness to travel.
