The successful candidate will be responsible for

  • Developing and managing the websphere brand business relationship between IBM and its clients & business partners, acting as a trusted business advisor and providing solutions to their business needs .
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of assigned industry segment, identifying opportunities, leading cross functional sales teams and utilizing appropriate routes to market which align with the Clients' buying patterns and maximize profitability.
  • Selling of Websphere products and services for the assigned industry as well as responsible for total customer satisfaction, market share, and IBM revenue within their client base.
  • Prioritising sales engagements into clients within the selected industry based on expected revenue return and other key qualification criteria
  • Acting as Websphere HK & Macau focal point for the industry, developing and executing sales initiatives to improve HK & Macau performance in that industry
  • Actively manage a viable pipeline of opportunities and client engagements to ensure delivery of quarterly revenue objectives.
  • Accurately forecast expected business results.
  • Teaming with the larger IBM on critical sales opportunities, driving development of industry references, leveraging on resources, working with Business Partners to ensure eco-system is strong

The successful candidate must have a strong client centric perspective, proven sales track record and be able to work creatively and independently in an unstructured environment across a broad range of activities. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships across GTS, S&D and GBS, as well as at IMT/ GMT levels.

  • Chinese: Fluent
