ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Regional Business Analysis and Solutions (RBAS) Managers are employed within their relevant region to continue to position CTM as a premier service focused travel agency. RBAS Managers will achieve this by identifying targeted sales opportunities and developing sales strategies to grow both the region, and ultimately whole business. Without question, they will focus their energies on also working with their CTM team members (Regional Client Value Managers and Head of Operations) to retain existing clients, and oversee the implementation of new business.

Some `Sales Managers’ simply sell the product. Our success in the market is the ability to tailor our offering to the client to match their existing strategic business direction when applied to travel. This is not a hard sell. Our service, product offering and completive ability in the market, matched with an understanding of the clients’ own business travel requirements IS a win-win sell. We firmly believe this (and our success proves) we have a product and service offering that is a solid value proposition.

As highlighted above, `tailored travel solutions’ is what CTM is about, so you must have the ability to think creatively in your approach with clients. This will constantly be assessed in your ability to perform the role, aligned with your ability to understand the prospective client’s business direction and resulting travel requirements.

We believe in our product, and it is the responsibility of all our RBAS Managers to ensure that our product matches the sell and the market requirements. Your on-going input will be sought in this regard.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Manager of Regional Business Development of corporate travel
  • Stationed in Hong Kong and responsible for business analysis and provide solutions and support to the Asia region and CTM global partners
  • nvestigate into major components of profitability analysis and identify opportunities and improvement areas
  • Research, formulate and prepare sales strategies and account acquisitions plans to attain new corporate clients
  • Develop winning value propositions for clients as part of the qualifications process
  • Lead or participate in regional strategic and operations planning initiatives, meetings, conferences and phone conferences
  • Represent CTM in the marketplace on a professional basis to increase market and brand awareness
  • And most importantly - achieve annual sales target!

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business related discipline
  • Minimum 4 years solid experience in a sales/ business analysis position in the travel industry
  • Demonstrated ability to align and tailor your "sell" to match the client's requirements
  • Previous experience in building pipelines, segmentation, overseeing tenders,reporting to sales status updates and outstanding negotiation skills
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Smart, proactive, analytical, self-motivated with excellent people skills and team spirit
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (in both Cantonese and Mandarin)
  • Occasional travel on short notice
