Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute development strategy in tapping into and engaging with technology & innovation ecosystem in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area; this includes connecting with startups, VCs, incubators/accelerators, innovation labs, universities and external media
• Grow engagement with stakeholders in the ecosystem to raise awareness of our brand and value proposition; and creating meaningful engagement with startups, investors, business support organizations and others. This involves hosting and participating in events to network and build meaningful relationships
• Build a community of technology startups, that have been invested in, accelerated or partnered with; creating a platform for business development, co-creation and new opportunities identification
• Develop external communications strategy focused on our core value proposition; and identifying means to increase reach and awareness
• Research, survey and create content to contribute to accelerator’s content marketing strategy in online and offline formats
• Plan and manage offline events in support of ongoing open innovation and investment programs
• Engage internal business stakeholders to participate in our open innovation platforms and report results

Requirements:

• 6-10 years of work experience
• Undergraduate degree; MBA is a plus
• Strategic and commercially-minded
• Experienced in community engagement, partnership relations and strategic communications, especially in the corporate innovation space
• Great communicator and fluency in English and Mandarin; Cantonese is a plus
• A team player, proactive and process-driven, and can work independently
• Does not mind occasional traveling and attending after work hour networking events
• Familiar with social media, both international and Chinese platforms; and digital marketing strategy
