Key Responsibilities:  

•  To work in a team setting to contribute to projects using our proprietary microfluidic single cell platform

•  Learn and optimize library preparation for single-cell transcriptomics using droplet-based microfluidics and other methods

•  Work independently or in a team setting to analyze data generated from experiments, draw appropriate conclusions and decide upon next steps 

•  Perform assay development and assay validation when needed

•  Effectively collaborate with other functional groups both intra and inter sites  

•  Contribute to patent filings and publications and present research finding to various audiences including senior management. 

Requirements: 

•  PhD in molecular biology, genetics or related field; or Master in relevant field with 2+ years of industry experience 

•  Biopharmaceutical industry working-experience in drug discovery preferred; antibody discovery hands-on experiences (e.g., library display) preferred; microfluidics experience is a plus 

•  Strong experience with basic molecular biology techniques such as PCR s essential; high throughput (automation) experience is a plus 

•  Data analysis experience, especially in the context of NGS is preferred; Bioinformatics training is a plus 

•  Drive to work on a fast-paced and highly collaborative team 

•  The candidate should strive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with cutting edge technologies and adapt quickly to meet aggressive deadlines.

•  Demonstrated excellence in standard laboratory technical skills 

•  Must be self-driven, and motivated 

•  Excellent oral and written communications skills required

•  Responsibilities commensurate with experience level
