Job Description
Job Duties:
-
To assist the Head of Risk Management in implementing risk initiatives, including the development of the high level risk assessment (HLRA) and the bottom up risk and control self-assessment (CSA) framework.

To help build the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework including the implementation of risk policies including aspects on asset liability management, investment, liquidity, underwriting, claims management etc.

To support the IFRS9 regular reporting through contribution of the expected credit loss (ECL) calculation.
- To support the Risk Management team in providing assistance to projects and/or other ad hoc incidents raised.
- To work in cooperation with the Taiwan operations in fulfilling relevant regulations applicable to the Hong Kong subsidiary.

To enhance risk culture within the company through promoting the three line of defence and other related training.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or other Business related disciplines

5 years of working experience in Risk Management / Finance reporting in financial institution, preferably life insurance company. Experience in audit firms covering insurance company clients is also relevant.

Sound knowledge of insurance and related regulatory requirements

Strong analytical skills with good sense of attention to details
- Keen to learn and strong interest in a risk management career

Good skills in Excel and Word

Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua will be a plus
