Senior Manager - Internal Audit (PE/Asset Management)

Our client is a sizable Chinese financial services provider, specialized in cross-border asset management and private equity investments.

Responsibilities

•             Support the Internal Audit Director in evaluating risks, reviewing business development and new regulations, preparing annual internal audit plans, providing recommendations to senior management, preparing documents, etc.

•             Closely monitor changes in market, company businesses, regulatory requirements, team operations, and more. Provide timely support to ensure internal audit standards are maintained, and that teams and departments are in line with the changes

•             Conduct internal audit and reviews based on annual plans and advises from senior management; prepare Chinese reports to effectively trace and report findings

•             Work closely with the Internal Audit Director, the Risk Management Committee and senior management. Provide support and raise critical voice to ensure company achieves efficient operations while maintaining a rigorous audit regime

•             Liaise with regulators, external auditors, lawyers, etc.

•             Other tasks required by the Internal Audit Director

Requirements

•             Degree holder or above, major in Accounting/Finance/Risk Management or other related disciplines

•             8 years or above in internal auditing with Big 4, fund houses, asset management companies or other sizable financial institutions 

•             Strong awareness to regulatory changes and challenges to business operation

•             Effective communicator and good at stakeholder management

•             A flexible problem-solver, willing to help solve ad-hoc tasks

•             Fluent English and Mandarin Chinese - written Chinese is an essential skill

•             Willing to travel
