Job Description
Purpose:
To develop the organisation’s global digital marketing strategy, create and implement effective digital marketing solutions to drive awareness and desire to visit Hong Kong
Responsibilities:
- To drive the continuous enhancement of DHK.com in design, content, features, applications, and usability
- To promote and drive traffic to DHK.com
- To undertake any other duties/special assignments as directed by the Supervisor
- To provide guidance to overseas offices to promote their customised market websites and digital marketing campaigns
- To plan and supervise the development of social media strategy, implement effective marketing programs on social media and create a sizable global fan group as a cost-effective channel for on-going destination promotion and consumer engagement
- To formulate mobile marketing strategy, develop and market mobile applications for promoting the destination and enhancing visitor’s experiences during their stay in Hong Kong
- To develop regional and global digital branding and promotion campaigns
- To develop effective digital marketing solutions to support promotion of various activities including, mega events, MICE and cruise
- To develop strategic alliances with travel portals, online agents and major consumer portals to create cost-effective marketing programmes through win-win cooperation
- To develop a set of comprehensive corporate digital marketing guidelines to ensure process compliance in the areas of content update, brand presentation, use of social media and new application rollout
- To uplift the overall standard of digital marketing programmes across the organisation through best practice sharing and organising in-house seminars and training
- To manage agencies and suppliers in delivering quality products and services
Requirements:
- University degree holder or equivalent, preferably in Marketing / Communications
- At least 12 years experience in Marketing Communications and digital marketing related business
- An aggressive and creative business driver with a strong strategic mind
- Strong leadership skills with experience of managing a sizable team
- Previously held managerial positions in the Marketing/ Communications departments of multinational organisations is essential
- Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale global websites/social media/mobile marketing initiatives with proven results Excellent interpersonal skills
