DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Product Analysis(75%):

• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and business teams across AAC, as well as customers and partners, to build foundations for product definitions targeted at the automotive market;
• Analyze technical and regulatory specifications required for automotive product certification
• Absorb a variety of technical information from engineering teams and be able to translate that into higher-level product requirement and customer benefits;
• Communicate market & customer/consumer insight to the technical department to support product development;
• Generate market, competitor, customer and consumer analysis and synthesize into valuable insight to define product positioning;
• Analyze the impact of internal and external technical and business proposals and determine the significance of the existing product offering, future product plans and customers;
• Take technical information and present it to a variety of non-technical audiences, both internally to peer support and externally to gain customer adoption.

Team Support(25%):

• Support product portfolio manager with execution of business duties and progress report
• Frequent written and oral translation of technical contents from English to Chinese (and vice versa)

REQUIREMENTS

• B.Sc(with 2 years of working experience) or M.Sc.in engineering
  Excellent communication skills (fluent in both Chinese and English)
• Suited to attend customers/partners meetings internationally.
• Strong proclivity to think strategically.
• Project Management –experience in project management.
• Relevant technical background in the automotive sector
• Knowledge of technologies relevant to consumer electronics (imaging, haptics, acoustics, RF and MEMS) is considered a great plus
• Knowledge of finance fundamentals to evaluate business opportunities is considered a plus
• Expected frequent travel within Mainland China and internationally.
