Job Description

To be responsible for the management of training and development operations, assisting the Training Manager in budgeting, planning, developing and executing training and development initiatives, projects and programmes. This role has a special focus on the management of the Global Product Training Program as well as the Traineeship Program. 

Job Description

  • Assist in the identification of the company’s training and development needs
  • Support in the design and development of relevant in-house training programmes that meet the needs of the company, with special focus on the Global Product Training Program
  • Implement internal marketing and communication strategy in regards to training
  • Handle various administrative aspects of training, e.g. scheduling of training courses, managing the course enrollment, providing logistics support for onsite and offsite training courses, keeping the attendance records, preparing senior management reports etc.
  • Provide administrative support for the Traineeship program. e.g. handling the induction program, visa application for overseas trainees etc.
  • Consolidate training feedback and prepare training evaluation reports in order to measure effectiveness
  • To review and recommend improvements and update training materials as directed by the Training Manager
  • Administrate the training expenses, reimbursement and subsidiaries application and related payment process
  • Support in maintaining and executing the training and development policies & procedures
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects when required

 

Qualifications, experience and skill

  • Degree in HRM, Business Administration or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of HR operational experience with exposure in training, preferably gained in medium-sized organizations. Experience in the sourcing business and / or previous fashion / apparel merchandising experience would be a value-add
  • Warm, approachable and genuine in helping others develop
  • High degree of maturity, personal ownership and responsibility
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized and able to prioritize
  • Business-savvy and able to work across cultures  
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of employees
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, Putonghua is an advantage
