Our client is a leading office solutions service provider famous in its creative designs and quality products. They are now looking for an energetic and analytical project manager to join their regional team in Hong Kong.  

Reporting to the Director, you will facilitate new product development and suggest the optimal costing and engineering process for each program. You will ensure smooth delivery of programs to meet cost, quality, performance and timeline objectives. Working closely with Finance and other internal cross-functional teams, you will implement effective costing model and engineering workflow to maximize margins and shorten lead-time. You will also monitor resources allocation plans in respond to any potential issues arise during the process. 

Successful candidate will possess the following competencies and attributes:

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other related disciplines
• A minimum of 12 years of project engineering experience and with brand exposure
• In-depth knowledge on mechanical consumer products (mainly metal); candidate from metal furniture manufacturing will be highly sought-after
• Proficient in PS Project and Excel; Project Management Professional (PMP) will be an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; with ability to work efficiently within matrix organization 
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential
