Programmer/ LIMS officer (.NET Developer)
 

We are actively seeking for a Laboratory Info Management System Officer to support the rapid growth of Fugro’s business. This position will deliver functional expertise, leadership, and support of a portfolio of shared IT Application systems on behalf of the Business. 

Job descriptions:

• To work closely with the Team Leader / Application Manager and users to develop, support and roll out application systems
• Provide daily support and maintenance of the application system and computer equipment
• To conduct information gathering sessions to gather and document business and functional specifications
• To conduct design and development activities for software development
• To prepare test specifications and conduct testing to ensure system conforms to system specifications
• To maintain requirement, design, test specifications, user manuals and other system documentation
• To review program source code & SQL provided from software vendors
• To provide technical support to diagnose and resolve system issues
  
  

Job requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in Information Technology / Computer Science or related discipline
• 1 years hands on experience with any backend programming language— .Net C#, Java, PHP, Python, Ruby, etc.
• Preferably have some experience with MVC design pattern, Entity Framework, or any other ORM, Multithreading, Async programming.
• Some JavaScript and Bootstrap knowledge/ SQL/ CSS/ React or Angular, but not mandatory.
• Good interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills 
• Good Team player
• Fresh graduate with the above knowledge will also be considered
