Technical Data Management

• Lead technical discussions on behalf of Data Team with Business, Tech and Product Team to ensure systems and capabilities of the Data Management are well considered in all aspects.
• Capture all the data/technical flows in corresponding to Products Requirement.
• Review and suggest improvements for Data Architecture working with Data Engineering Team and Tech Team.

Data Management & Stewardship

• Support the senior manager to build Data roadmap and work with different parts of the business to drive execution on the roadmap
• Support the senior manager to setup data management procedures and controls, oversee execution and adherence to procedures and controls, and review them on a regular basis
• Lead discussions with Tech on management and improvement of Master Data Management (MDM) system
• Assist in the implementation Meta Data Management strategy and system.
• Oversee data stewards on day-day data management activities and monitor progress, particularly on potential match/suspect case management

Data Governance

• Support the senior manager to put a Data Governance framework and Data Management plan in place and maintain on an ongoing basis. Key focus on IT integration and cloud capabilities across the business.

Data Quality and Project Management

• Support data team in producing reports and alerting for Data quality, Data Management for management.
• Lead Data Management projects to appropriate time, cost and quality standards

Data Management Evangelist

• Support senior manager in continuing a communication and knowledge management strategy to educate and ultimately empower consumers of data on the governance policies and practices
• Collaborate with peers across business to deliver on the overarching data strategy and communicate the same through various medium.

Job Requirement:

• 4-6 years experience in Data Management and Governance initiatives working with complex data and systems infrastructure
• 4-6 years technical experience working with complex IT systems
• Good understanding of business processes and data modeling especially relating to master data domains such as Customer, Product and Distribution channels
• Good understanding of SQL, other coding languages very desirable.
• Deep understanding of key tools used in governing/managing data including meta data management, master data management and data stewardshipDemonstrated ability to engage senior business leaders in establishing ownership/accountability, securing funding and committing resources for projectsDemonstrated leader capable of partnering / driving business and technology colleagues in establishing a highly functioning governance program
• Strong experience in process (re)engineering, hands-on operational management and change managementPrevious exposure to / knowledge of insurance, financial service industry will be an advantage
• Strong analytical mind with focus on attention to detail
• Can-do attitude and must be able to work unsupervised towards a goal.
