Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain overall business architecture and functional architecture mapping for Asia Pacific system and process ecosystem

  • Review and develop  IT & Transformation project documentation in alignment with company policies/methodologies   

  • Analyse business workflow to create process maps and isolate areas of potential improvement through system and process change

  • Analyse insurance products and sales processes to identify improvements in systems, tools, processes, data flow that will maximize growth in Asia Pacific

  • Meet with and obtain requirements from business users to gather and analyse end user requirements through interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, task and workflow analysis.

  • Scoping projects effectively including the identification and management of dependencies to minimise the number and size of change requests to original scope and solutions

  • Provide assistance to end users following implementation to ensure full benefit realisation

  • Lead business architecture and functional design activities within programs and across the Asia Pacific system and process landscape

  • Lead the development of functional specifications that design and document desired outcome of system enhancement/development

  • Assist with the production of technical specifications to communicate user requirements in technical terms to analyst programmers/project team

  • Support testing phases to ensure overall efficiency, functionality and user friendliness of system enhancement/development

  • Provides support to IT & Transformation leadership team to ensure that people, resources and processes are aligned with business needs and fit for purpose.

Requirements

  • minimum 3 years of experience in IT and business process analysis, with at least 2 years’ experience in a business environment 

  • Tertiary qualifications 

  • Managing and motivating direct reports. Communicating, reporting and presenting to Senior Management

  • Managing across cultures, to drive projects in a Regional Team

  • Experience in the application of business and enterprise architecture methodologies and tools
