expanding their Data Management Team and is inviting high caliber candidate to join their workforce
across Asia Pacific Region
Regional Data Management Manager (Data Governance)
Responsibilities:
- To act as an in-house consultant to accelerate data governance implementation for BU functions in Asia Pacific region to ensure data harmonization across the organization
- To establish strong foundation to support analytics capabilities
- To participate in Global Data and Analytics meetings and provide inputs from Asia Pacific perspective; prepare data governance maturity report for Asia Pacific
- To contribute regular review and enhancement on global data governance template; Plan Asia Pacific road-map and ensure alignment with the global
- As a focal point in Asia Pacific to improve data governance awareness and provide advisory on data governance best practice
- To work with various business users to define business problem and analyse process-data relationship
- To engage data owners and IT system owners to designing and operationalizing data governance template
- To report to Senior Manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, computer science, computing or related disciplines
- 10 years or above Regional (Asia Pacific) / global experience and at least 5 years in Leading Data Governance or Data Management Projects
- Strong experience Data analyst - ETL, Data Integration, Data Preparation, Data Migration, Data Cleansing Development
- Hands-on experience in analyzing data with solid experience in managing data management projects and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic business environment
- Sound knowledge of business analysis and process management
- Strong in communication skills and understand stakeholders need
- Experience in master data management, metadata management, data quality management Or familiar with database programming languages will be a big plus
- Excellent written and communication skills in English is a MUST; Mandarin is important
- Travel is required (15% Asia Pacific)
