Responsibilities:

• Being part of the claims specialization process, enhance the function in claims recovery area
• Improves claims recovery result by setting achievable target.
• Handles multi-classes insurance recovery claims against responsible parties for the best interest of Company
• Reviews potential recovery claims, assess merits and forms strategy
• Liaises with Hong Kong Traffic Police for information, investigation result and court outcome
• Liaises with intermediaries, policyholders, witnesses, recovery service vendors and legal professionals for recovery claims
• Manages and monitors recovery service vendors’ performance
• Files claims and attends Small Claims Tribunal
• Adheres to local regulatory and governance requirements throughout the whole recovery claim process
• Prepare monthly recovery claim report to team leader

Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ experience of recovery work/debt collection in bank or other financial institutions
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Customer service oriented and self-motivated
• Prefer familiar with motor, employees’ compensation and/or property insurance policy coverage (but not essential)
• Good negotiation skills
• Prefer good knowledge of recovery processes and Small Claims Tribunal procedures.
• PC proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Good command of spoken and written Cantonese and English.
