Ark Entertainment is looking for an Assistant Artist Manager to help the Artist Manager with business negotiations and media inquiries. The responsibilities of an Assistant Artist Manager include working closely with the Artist Manager to source and secure jobs for the Artist, handle deal negotiations, do due diligence on deals, and represent the artist in communications with clients and media. To be a successful Assistant Artist Manager, you should have strong communication skills, be highly organized, and be able to employ critical thinking to make suggestions and decisions that benefit and promote the Artist. You should also be passionate about music and entertainment. This role may have significant travel monthly.

Responsibilities

- Assist the Artist and Artist Manager as directed
- Negotiate contracts and fees and better terms for Artist
- Source and secure jobs for Artist
- Conducting research on potential clients and deals.
- Handle press and other media inquiries
- Liaise between artist manager, clients, and other employees
- Manage the scheduling of the Artist’s promotional tours, shows, events, jobs, and other public appearances.
- Manage and prepare invoices
- Accompany artists on promotional tours, shows, events and other jobs as needed.
- Book flights, hotels, transportation, and other logistics.

Requirements

- 4-6 years of working experience
- Proficient in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English
- Have good negotiation and networking skills
- Have good communication skills, able to take direction, and willing to learn proactively. 
- Have critical thinking, a problem-solving mentality, and be able to make effective suggestions on deals.
- Good organizational skills
- Travel occasionally with the Artist and be on call on nights and weekends.
