The Person

We are looking for a person with good communication and organization skills. He/She should be mature, detail-minded and able to work independently.

The entry requirements for this job are:

(i)          Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese, English (Syllabus B) and Mathematics, OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSEE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese, English and Mathematics): Level 2 or above in New Senior Secondary subjects, “Attained” or above in Applied Learning Subjects, and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects, OR equivalent;

(ii)         a diploma preferably in legal studies with at least 2 years’ relevant experience preferably in civil litigation;

(iii)        conversant with the usage of common computer application software, i.e. MS Word, Excel and Chinese word processing; and

(iv)        a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

The Job

Duties will include:

(i)          filing documents with Court, fixing hearing dates and serving legal documents;

(ii)         preparing legal documents relating to debt recovery and enforcement of judgments;

(iii)        maintaining and updating information databases; and

(iv)        providing secretarial and administrative support.

Terms of Appointment and Remuneration Package

Terms of Appointment: The appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract for two years initially prior to consideration for appointment on a non-fixed-term basis.
