Working in a multi-cultural and innovative environment, you will focus on material  Research and Development, Technology Innovation, Sustainability, and technical resolutions  in order to drive textile newness, trend setting,  and  market-leading material, mostly synthetic  knit/cotton knit  for the performance and lifestyle collection within  the global iconic fashion brand.

Working  closely with US Technology Innovation Team and US Design team, you will contribute your knitted fabric expertise to lead strategic and analytical research to discover  raw material technology innovation and sustainability  that sets the market trend and are relevant to the global consumers' expectations

Developing and executing the material sourcing strategy and mill capabilities evaluation, you will collaborate with global mill partners, throughout the spinning, weaving, dyeing, and finishing process,   to translate and engineer the concept into actual material within the target cost and quality standard.   You will actively drive risk assessment process and put forward technical recommendation during the development and production processes.  

You will also work with Material Director in HK to continue discover the ongoing  material innovation, cost optimization opportunities, and lead-time reduction opportunities  within the textile suppliers in Asia and globally. 

If you have 10 years of relevant experience with a degree in the textile, chemistry or related disciplines, have proved track records of achievements in both sourcing office and fabric manufacturing environment,  and with good verbal/written English communication abilities, then we would like to hear from you.
