Responsibilities: -

• Keep abreast of worldwide legislations and regulatory requirements on raw materials, packaging materials, labelling and products
• Develop and update labelling specifications for products, and provide labelling requirements to concerned parties for label development
• Review ingredients, formulae, labels and advertising materials to ensure compliance with food laws including health and nutrition claims
• Work with concerned parties to execute raw / packaging material evaluation for regulatory compliance in specific market
• Handle customers' inquiries regarding regulatory issues and product registration
• Consolidate regulatory information and provide regulatory updates to internal stakeholders
• Provide technical support in product development / quality / safety / projects and ad-hoc issues
• Carry out documents / filing maintenance and other administrative duties as required

Requirements: -

• Bachelor degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Biological Science or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in food / packaging material regulatory affairs, or quality and safety administration on food / raw materials
• Sound knowledge of food and labelling regulations
• Knowledge of food packaging regulations, GMP, HACCP and ISO 22000 will be an advantage
• Detailed-oriented and well-organized
• Good analytical mind and logical thinking
• Good interpersonal skills
• Proficient in spoken and written in Chinese & English, Mandarin will be an advantage
