Responsibilities:

• Develop and design logical and physical data models
• Conduct interviews with business users and subject matter experts to understand information needs and imbed into a logical data model.
• Review source systems and business publications to accurately capture new data requirements and integrate them into the logical data model.
• Conduct data model reviews with developers, architects, business analysts and subject matter experts to collaborate and gain consensus.
• Work closely with data services team to assure interfaces are built for the long term
• Drive metadata documentation and make it available to those that dependent upon it.
• Write SQL queries or Perl Scripts for data transportation, profiling, manipulation and reporting.
• Researches, analyzes and resolves problems and issues with minimal supervision and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Manage data quality/integrity analysis and migration activity
• Manage the relationship between stakeholders and Core Implementation Team
• Liaise with Customer Master Data team and Data Governance stakeholders
• Work with business and programme resources to define customer data conversion rules
• Liaise with the testing resource to ensure data conversions are within acceptable tolerance
• Design and implement procedures to:
• Investigate and resolve defects
• Identify potential duplicates
• Consolidate customer records under the new schema
• Validate data extracts and uploads

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems
• Experience in either Banking & Finance, ICT, Government or Utilities IT Transformations would be advantageous
• Minimum of 2 years general IT experience and at least 2 years data analyst experience
• Good team player and communication skills
• Strong ability to grasp and understand the key business drivers and add value to achieve the best outcome for the client
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese) language
• Knowledge of Database Tools and Languages
• Exposure to Data Quality, ETL Technologies & Reporting Tools
