Report to Director of ICT, the incumbent will provide support on analysis, design, implementation and maintenance of school technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems and data analysis and data integration among various school systems
• Deliver IT assistance to school staff, students and parents, include but not limited to conduct basis IT orientation for staff and students, provide network access and connectivity to staff, maintain system documentations and training materials for school
• Develop and maintain the school website by using PHP/mySQL tools
• Handle Ma OSX apple scripting and shell scripting, and power shell server-side scripting
• Administrate the Microsoft file system
• Handle data integration between various school systems and data analysis and presentation (set up ODBC, prepare SQL queries, create data views in Excel, prepare statistics and analysis)
• Support school information system (Engage) administration and report development, including manage and create user account and permission
• Provide in-house training to staff and to run induction sessions with students
• Coach and provide ICT professional development to students on their way to university (gap tutors)

Requirement

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with at least 5 years of working experience
• Experience in supporting Apple MacOSX operating system (Mountain Lion 10.8.4), Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Server 2008, Microsoft Active Directory, Google Apps and Linux
• Sounds knowledge in website development with HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery, PHP/MySQL
• Experience of using IMS Access Card System, document publishing (InDesign and features) and image editing (Adobe Photoshop)
• With experience in school or familiar environment
• Able to work within a team as well as independently
• Excellent command of written and spoken English. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong in solve problems with creative
• Able to work under pressure and to meet short deadlines
