Job Description
Our client is hiring a Database Administrator to join the IT Department.
Responsibilities:
- Setup, maintain and troubleshoot the overall production and non-production database environments
- Monitor usage and performance of the database infrastructure
- Ensure database infrastructure is setup timely for all environments
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related discipline
- Around 5 - 8 years solid work experience in database administration
- Strong in SQL, troubleshooting and tuning skills in SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase or others
- Exposure to large scale OLTP database development projects will be an advantage
- Good knowledge of LINUX and relational modelling skill is preferable
- Working knowledge of Windows, SAN, Enterprise monitoring/scheduling tools, Clusters, Virtualization and middleware
- Strong communication skills and proficient in Chinese and English, in both spoken and written
