Responsibilities:

Contract to a government department to develop and maintain Application Systems.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of IT applications, including system analysis, programming, system testing, acceptance testing, documentation and ongoing support;
• Perform system analysis and design work for enhancement items relatively simple in nature;
• Perform programming for enhancement involving complex logic; and
• Assist in providing training, technical support and advice to users of IT systems and in IT activities.

Requirements:

• Degree/Higher diploma in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Minimum 3 years IT work experience;
• Minimum 1 year experience as Analyst Programmer or similar capacity;
• Hands-on experience in Java programming, Structured Query Language and Web Programming; and
• Good interpersonal and communication skill.
