Role - System Analyst (Java) 

Mode of Hiring - 3 years extendable contract with Nityo

Location - Hong Kong

Language - Cantonese and English

Responsibilities:

• Typical SA/Java Developer job spec
• Analysing existing systems and business models
• Mapping and documenting interfaces between legacy and new systems
• Understanding software development lifecycle
• Translating client requirements into highly specified project briefs
• Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability
• Conducting requirements analysis and preparing specific proposals for modified or replacement systems
• presenting proposals to clients
• working closely with colleagues, developers, testers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
• drawing up, supervising and documenting testing schedules for complete systems
• overseeing implementation of a new system including data migration planning and working flexibly to deadlines

Requirements:

• 2-4 years exp
• Hands-on Java web application, Familiar with WebSphere Application Server, JBoss, Tomcat, JavaEE technology, Struts, etc.
• Native Cantonese
• The Java skills are JSF 1.0, spring framework and EJB 2.0.
• The Devops skills are Jenki, Jmeter and Selenium.
• The middleware skills are Tomcat and JBoss (Wildfly).
• The cloud platform skill Redhat Openshift is preferred but optional.
