Role Overview

  • As a brand champion, the incumbent will be responsible for the ongoing upkeep of Global Brand Guidelines and review of global campaign assets to ensure guidelines are used in the correct manner, so that our brand is consistently represented, distinctive and highly recognizable.
  • Develop and adapt global campaigns to market needs and coordinate the respective brand marketing initiatives that will help the local affiliates achieve the sales and market share objectives.
  • Measure the impact of global campaigns through asset adoption rate and KPIs framework.
  • Through continuous engagement and collaboration with all local marketing teams, ensure all brand materials created are globally relevant, premium and aspirational as well as useful in driving positive consumer affinity with our brand.
  • Manage end-to-end global innovation projects, from concept to launch, from product to communication, from consumer end to customer end.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Contribute to global brand strategy and planning - brand DNA, codes, vision, brand architecture, enhance brand equity, ensure consistent global positioning, portfolio optimization, new product innovation roadmap and global ambassadors’ strategy.
  • Support the development of global campaigns, from briefing through to delivery, lead the development of key assets and drive internal buzz
  • Support the development of globally relevant brand campaigns that leverage Global Brand Ambassadors & Partners and support key global products.
  • Design and deploy in due time all global brand campaigns and tool kits including touchpoint and content strategy in a playbook that can enable local communication and activations.
  • Partner with local brand managers to ensure alignment to key strategies and ensure brand plans have maximum impact and brand consistency in all key activations.
  • Implement KPI guidelines and measurement framework that create benchmarks and enable our local team to optimise their execution.
  • Act as brand champion to create focus and enthusiasm both internally and with external customers and agencies.
  • Monitor brand performance and external environment via appropriate tools to identify trends and actionable consumer insights and take corrective actions as required to meet business objectives.
  • Manage assigned A&P budget effectively to create maximum impact and monitor plan vs. actual spending closely
  • Lead global marketing engagement calls and best practice sharing sessions.
  • Lead global brand material and social media content approval process
  • Provide brand guidelines to local markets in local content production and adoption of global assets.
  • Manage the global end to end new product innovation pipeline and work with the regional/local marketing teams and cross-function teams to deliver global New Product Development (NPD) launches that have been approved for the next 3-5 years. Scope includes but not limit to concept and claim ideation, formulation/ component development, package design and artwork, channel strategy, pricing strategy and P&L.

To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or any relevant academic qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years brand marketing and NPD experience in FMCG industry, preferably related to Baby nutrition range.
  • Experience in working at both Global & Regional level preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record in multi-functional, multi-stakeholder engagement and alignment.
  • Excellent command of English & fluent Mandarin.
