Job Description
Background
Our client is a Malaysian based international property developer with major real estate investments in Xiamen China. The Xiamen project is a mixed real estate development with shopping mall, office, hotel and residential, circa 360,000 square meters. The company’s ultimate shareholder is listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the resident General Manager to support the mall management in Xiamen.
- Ongoing liaison on leasing matters over a wide spectrum of retail brand owners/operators covering different retail sectors especially for those that are based in HK and in the region.
- Ongoing market watch of new retail market trends and sharing that with our Xiamen mall team.
- Working closely with our Xiamen Mall team to support and introduce new and innovative retails brands to bring new concepts and ideas to improve tenant mix and traffic.
- Support the whole process of introduction, negotiation and implementation of new/renewal lease/tenants.
Requirements
- 3 years’ leasing experience in mall retail.
- Ability to work independently and deal directly with international and local brands is required.
- Experience in dealing with PRC retail leasing is a clear advantage.
- Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is essential.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills is required.
