Role Overview

This role is responsible for our strategic approach, and implementation of the H&H Group’s contribution to community. It includes the establishment and on-going management of the H&H Foundation (based in Geneva); cultivating our philanthropic relationships; and coordinating corporate citizenship activities across all territories and teams. It also includes championing and implementing the Group sustainability efforts at a local level.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the H&H Foundation including ongoing operations, legal requirements (alongside our legal team) and reporting, both internally and externally.
  • Work closely with the H&H Foundation Board, including regular communication via email, preparation and distribution of Board papers, and making all arrangements for Board meetings to take place.
  • Develop and implement a robust annual plan in collaboration with Group Director, Communications and Group Sustainability Manager, including goals, timelines and communication with all community partners.
  • Identify, engage and foster partnership opportunities with prospective and ongoing charity partners (in collaboration with the local teams). This includes managing (in a timely and financially-responsible manner) the process of all territories applying for and gaining funding from H&H Foundation.
  • Document proposals and contracts and monitor all partnerships to ensure positive and purposeful activities and stewardship including evaluation and impact assessment of all partnerships.
  • Coordinate opportunities for team members to become involved in the partnerships, including the organisation and management of global volunteering days across the H&H Group globally.
  • Lead the internal discussion on community initiatives and manage the global Community Champions network (discussion primarily on WeChat platform).
  • Work with the Marketing and Communications team to profile partnerships and H&H Group activity where appropriate.
  • Provide regular updates on Community activity to the Internal Communications team to include in newsletters, updates and reports. (E.g. Annual Report, Town hall announcements, Swisse Scoop, LinkedIn etc.)
  • Work in concert with the Group Sustainability Manager (based in UK) to share community commitments and inputs as well as champion sustainability initiatives in the Asia region.

  • Strong leadership qualities, including strategic thinking and ability to inspire others.
  • High level relationship management skills to build rapport with Board, charity partners, team members and other stakeholders (strong interpersonal skills a must).
  • Ability to work with teams across many territories globally and different languages.
  • High level of emotional intelligence.
  • Creative mindset.
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about corporate social impact, the challenges and the opportunity.
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude – happy to roll up the sleeves and get the job done as well as deliver strategic thinking.
  • Strong written, oral communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent in spoken and written English/Chinese.

To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity:   

  • Degree in Marketing/Business Administration or related discipline.
  • At least 3 years professional business-related experience.
  • Relevant experience in FMCG/Retail industry is preferred.
  • Prior management of partnerships and corporate relationships.
  • Current or previous experience managing Non-Profit Partner relationships is preferred.
