Responsibilities

• Manage the translation team in Shanghai to ensure the selected research reports from parent company in Shanghai are efficiently distributed in Hong Kong
• Oversee, manage and edit the translation of research reports from Chinese to English in a timely manner
• Coordinate with Analysts in Shanghai to handle and answer the enquiries from overseas investors
• Translate investors feedback in weekly basis
• Coordinate with Analysts in Shanghai for roadshows in China and monthly visits to Hong Kong

Requirements

• Degree holder or above, preferable in translation or journalism
• Minimum 8 years’ research experience in translation or copy-editing. Demonstrable versatility in coping with the topic material being translated, rather than narrow expertise in standard form documents is required
• With knowledge of process and regulations for equity research report publishing is advantage
• Strong English language writing ability
• Some knowledge of accounting and financial statement analysis
• Good understanding of Hong Kong and China equity markets
• Attention to details with good interpersonal and organizational skills
• Practical knowledge of MS Office applications, Bloomberg, Reuters and WIND data terminals
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua is essential
