About This Role

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Director of Sales Development to lead our Insurance consultant division. We need a self-motivated professional with proven managerial experience and an outstanding track record in sales development. You will be directly responsible for generating revenue from the Insurance consultant division. You should have experience in team building, defining and launching operational processes, and achieving revenue-based targets.

Candidate with less experience may be considered as Sales Development Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive the sales force and sales development strategies
  • Responsible for sales development and relationship management
  • Responsible for sales management of the team including hiring, training and performance evaluation
  • Coach the sales force and enhance their professionalism to reach top-notched sales quality
  • Build infrastructure, processes, and best practices to support the work of sales team and sales development, including the sales tools and systems
  • Set, measure, and reach goals, plans, and KPIs for the sales team

Requirements:

  • Proven sales team / agency building development experience, with at least 3 years relevant experience in Insurance Industry
  • Degree holder or above, relevant licenses are required, ie.: IIQE Paper 1, 3 & 5 are compulsory
  • Adequate product knowledge and selling strategic experience. Familiar with market players' strengths and weaknesses
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills with good command of written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and English
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills and negotiation skills
  • Candidate with the following conditions or experience are preferred:
    • Candidate with an existing consultant / agent sales team
    • Candidate with experience in dealing with high net-worth clients in Hong Kong & Macau

Candidates who have excellent performance and willing for challenges will be able to participate in a wider business spectrum, such as Private Bank EAM, Asset Management, Fiduciary and Family Office Business.
